No matter what time of year, this location is perfect. In the winter there are 6 ski areas within 30 minutes. In the summer enjoy everything the mountains and the lake have to offer. Don't forget the change of the seasons...the vivid yellows of the Aspens brush the mountainsides. The home itself provides a wrap-around balcony and floor to ceiling windows to simply enjoy the views of Lake Tahoe surrounded by the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Go skiing, snow shoeing, sledding, hiking, fishing, swimming, rafting and then sit by the fire or on the porch and reflect on your day at play. The home comfortably sleeps three couples or a large family. And, is situated in a wonderful neighborhood. New paint and carpeting keep this property fresh.   PROS: the VIEW!! We VERY MUCH enjoyed the view from the deck and the great room. Updated kitchen and bathrooms. They have “lake day” items (Ex.- chairs, cooler, floaties) available. The location was great for our needs. Quiet neighborhood too. CONS: We were a full house so all beds were occupied and no one had positive reviews on the beds. The spiral staircase definitely isn’t great. The dining table chairs are a bit rickety. The patio table only seats 4. We didn’t require anything from the Management company but they communicated very well prior to arrival.

  Never again. Cleaning fee $331 for nasty dirty carpets; stairs that need repairs; entrance parking lot had snow obscuring the walk way over 2’; so that our 70+year old parents had to climb over. It needs an and update; beds were horrible and the heater in the house is not very well regulated. Kitchen was updated a bit. We spent Thursday night and left Friday to Virginia City Veterans Parade, then Crystal Bay for a fabulous dinner at the Steak House & headed home. All in all for the price we paid for the cabin we could have stayed in our favorite Admiral Suite in Santa Cruz and had a real fire with wood provided, windows open to hear the ocean all night long and a panoramic view of the Pier, Boardwalk! We learned our lesson with VRBO and Goldfish Properties! Never Again.

  Lovely home. Great deck. Quiet and comfortable. The beds are a bit hard but manageable. They left a note warning of the last three steps on the stairs to go down to the bottom level. They are tilted and one can easily slip. I did. The note of warning was inside one of the kitchen cabinet doors.

  Had my parents and my kids on this vacation and the house was perfect. Great views of Lake Tahoe and close to restaurants, activities, shopping. Only wish the bedroom downstairs had a wall to separate.

  This home an amazing wrap-around balcony. The view I'm sure would have been amazing but we picked the rainiest time of Oct to visit. The only few thing that I would recommend would be to find a better heating system to regulate the heat on the main floor. The basement area gets all the heat. Your not comfortable sleeping upstairs due to cold or downstairs due to excessive heat. The stairs are not great for those of an aging adult. 50+ watch your step at the bottom. It's angled and you will slip off no matter your age. Oh, and the bed's are obviously very new and well kept but if you only want extra-firm support your in luck. The kitchen is all updated and everything was provided. A little covered area would have been nice from the car to the front door during the weather. No covered area.

  This house was just perfect for our family to stay at when our son got married in North Lake Tahoe last weekend. The view is exactly like the pictures show (amazing!) and there was plenty of room for everyone while still feeling very cozy. Everything was clean and the furniture was very nice and comfortable. Thankfully the smoke lifted while we were there and I think some of our best photos will be from the balcony of this house!

  Our family loved the location and the views from the back deck. The location is close to everything you would want to do. The home is in a neighborhood with high end homes. The house has been upgraded in a few areas. The back deck is new, kitchen and both bathrooms have been renovated. The rest of the house is very dated. Lots of small items that need a handyman. House and bedding was clean. Overall it was a Good value for the money.
